OPPORTUNITIES

The music ministry of Greeneville Cumberland Presbyterian Church is seeking student singers for the Harold & Peg Andrew Music Ministry Internship Program from September 2026-April 2027. Positions are available for high school, college, or graduate students in the tenor, bass, alto, and soprano sections. The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings and sings in the 10:30 traditional sanctuary service on Sunday mornings. Additional learning goals will be customized for each student in the areas of choral directing, section leading, children's music, church music administration, instrumentation, solo and ensemble singing, etc.

 

Student singers are paid up to $200 for each week of the internship (by automatic deposit twice monthly), which includes weekly rehearsal, worship service, and other responsibilities outlined in the contract agreement. Other benefits include Montreat Worship & Music Conference in Summer 2027, membership in Presbyterian Association of Musicians, and two weeks off.
