Feeding the Community, Body and Soul

Music

Music is a large part of church life at Greeneville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  There are musical opportunities for all ages and special services throughout the year to highlight the musical offerings of our choirs and individuals.  We have also been privileged to host musical groups and musicians from around the country, including the Bethel University Choir, Maryville College Choir, Annapolis Area Christian School High School Choir, The Fiddlin' Carson Peters Band, and many others.

Chancel Choir
Our Chancel Choir leads music for our 10:30 a.m. Sunday Worship services, as well as special services, holidays and other Church events.  If you like to sing, please think about joining us and becoming part of the Chancel Choir.  We have a wonderful time in fellowship as we "make a joyful noise unto the Lord."
We practice on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8:30 p.m., immediately following the Wednesday evening fellowship suppers during the school year.  The Choir room is located on the second floor of the Church educational wing, just down the hall from the elevator.

Bell Choir
Our Bell Choir performs during the special events and Worship services.  The Bell Choir practices on Monday evenings at the Church, from 6 to 8 p.m.  If you can read music and would like to join us, please contact Bobbie through the Church office at 638-4119 for more information about becoming part of the Bell Choir.

Cherub's Choir
All children through fifth grade are encouraged to sing with the Cherub Choir. These groups meet on Wednesdays at 5:30 during the school year.
