Food Bank Collection
The Greeneville-Greene County Food Bank is a located in downtown Greeneville. The organization provides services to residents experiencing financial difficulty. Food boxes are available for individuals or families once every three months. The Food Bank also helps with heating needs during the winter months.
Our church participates in the regular collection of food items based on a schedule provided through the Food Bank. Each month we are assigned a specific food item by the Food Bank, and those items are collected in the hallway in the back of the church outside Armitage Hall. The collection schedule is as follows:
August - Canned Soup
September - Instant Potatoes or Rice
October - Peanut Butter
November - Crackers
December - Oatmeal or Dry Cereal
- January 2014 - Powered Milk
