Feeding the Community, Body and Soul
Our Senior Ministry program is aimed to provide an open, loving, and caring environment for the spiritual and social growth of those who are of retirement age and beyond. Part of our goal to increase the quality of life of our community, whether or not you attend this Church. This Church is God's house, a place for everyone. We provide an array of activities, services, and outreach for the Young-at-Heart adults in our greater Greeneville community. We believe that an active lifestyle and social contact are important and healthy parts of aging. You are welcome to join us for any of the activities!
Some of our regular activities include monthly luncheons out, Bridge groups, trips to Barter Theatre, Bingo, Book Club and other social activities.
We also have serval outreach ministries, including a Prayer Shawl group that makes prayer shawls for members, families and close friends who are in need of "a hug" for any number of reasons, a mobile meals program, and a visitation team.
No matter what your needs, social or spiritual, we might just have the right thing for you!
For this month's highlights and activities please see the Cannonball Courier. For this month's calendar, please see the Cannonball Courier, page 2.
